On Oct 2, 2002, the Second China Model Exposition was grandly held in Beijing. Mr. Zhang Fa Qiang, Vice-President of Federation Aernautique Internationale, Mr. Sandy Pimenoff, President of International Aeromodelling Commission of Federation Aernautique Internationale and Mr. John Grant, President of International Federation of Model Auto Racing were present on the Opening Ceremony. Model buyers and hobbyists from all over the world got together in Beijing Exhibition Center and various model aircraft flied over Aviation Museum.

We achieve great success in 2001, therefore booths are especially limited this year. Enterprises reserve booths in advance, there are 11 enterprises applying for above 8 standard booths, single Exhibition area is up to 576 Sqm. Projected demonstration area cannot meet demand of enterprises, so organizing committee opened Hall 7 for solving an extremely urgency of some enterprises. At present, we have began to plan the 3rd China Model Exposition, the projected area will be beyond 10,000 Sqm.

Beijing Exhibition Center was decorated by all kinds of colorful models, whether they are static or dynamic, visitors were attracted by what they saw. Professional visitors from other countries and regions are another scenery and they brought lots of orders for enterprises. During the Exhibition, Exhibitors exchanged product information and contacted partners.

Exposition creates an enthusiastic atmosphere to show remarkable charm of models within limited period. Before Exhibition, Organizing Committee carried out propaganda in order to let more people learn about elegant demeanor of models, saw change of model sport with each passing day, prosperity of model industry as well as bright prospective of model market.
